TOP 10 Things to do in WASHINGTON DC | DC Travel Guide
So there’s a bit of a story behind this trip. A while ago I told you about a book I read that really touched me and inspired me: The Storyteller by Jodi Piccoult. It tells the story of a young girl who experienced the Holocaust and it made me want to learn more about it and show some respect. At the time my sister was also reading a book about the Holocaust and while we both wanted to get on a plane and fly to Germany and really experience it for ourselves we decided that Washington DC and the Holocaust Museum there might be a bit more realistic.
So we did it! And it was amazing and I am so glad we took the time to make it happen. Here is a quick recap of what we did saw and ate. I hope you share your Washington DC favorites too because I am going to need them for my next hundred trips back.
Only one place to mention here! The Jefferson Hotel. They hosted us during our stay and I think the pictures speak for themselves.
