This pink-green vegetable looks very much like a colorful celery. Of course it is most popular in pies compotes pies preserves and desserts. But the sour sweet but still sour and spicy taste is not only meant to be cooked in sweet dishes. Actually we find it quite sad that this vegetable has been nicknamed "pie plant". We believe in you rhubarb! You can fully express yourself as you are! We keep our fingers crossed for you!*

In the 1940s rhubarb was officially declared a fruit by a New York Customs judge and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) officially classifies it as a fruit.
