Easy delicious 7 Minute Icing also known as Marshmallow White Mountain Boiled Sugar Icing

¼ teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Stir sugar water and cream of tartar in a saucepan over medium heat. Cover and bring to a boil then uncover and cook until a candy thermometer registers 238 degrees F (115 degrees C) 5 to 7 minutes; syrup should form a long thread when dripped from a spoon.
