️ The "Always keep on this device" feature misled people into deleting and losing important files. Here's why and what to do instead.

Always stay on this device?
This feature only applies to files in OneDrive and only disables the Files On Demand feature for individual files and folders. Files deleted from your OneDrive folder anywhere will always be deleted from all machines synced to that OneDrive account, regardless of this setting.
