A Moscow mule is a popular cocktail made with vodka ginger beer lime juice and often garnished with mint. Although the drink is associated with Russia for obvious reasons it is actually an American invention. There are a few variations on the traditional recipe such as the Kentucky mule (made with bourbon) and the Mexican mule (made with tequila).
