Why can't I change my profile picture in Zoom?

Are you in a Zoom meeting and can't add or update your profile picture? Your profile picture is very important in Zoom because when your video is turned off, the image should display.

But what if you're in a Zoom meeting and you don't even have the option to change your profile picture?

When you click on Participants and then next to your name, you can see the /"Rename/" option but not the /"Update profile photo./" option.

This is probably because the host has set an option to:
/"Hide participants' profile photos during a meeting./"

When your video is off, it just shows your name.

To resolve this issue, the host will need to change the option in their Zoom account.

Once done, participants will need to leave the meeting and rejoin to be able to update their profile picture.
