Why you should be careful when installing Chrome extensions

Chrome extensions are incredibly handy tools, but it's extremely easy to infect your computer with keyloggers and other types of viruses with just a few lines of code. This is why you, as a web developer, should always check the code yourself and search for each Chrome extension you install if you are not sure whether you can determine whether it is a virus or not . I know a lot of people who downloaded Chrome extensions and wiped out their cryptocurrency as a result. Hackers knew their email passwords, crypto exchange passwords, etc. This means they can actually bypass 2FA because they can log into your email. Stay safe out there!
