If your WiFi icon is missing from the system tray or notification area, you can try several methods to restore it:

1. Check System Tray Settings
1. Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Notification area section and click Select the icons that appear in the taskbar.
3. Make sure the Network icon is enabled.

2. Enable Network icon in Settings
1. Press Windows key I to open Settings.
2. Go to Personalization – Taskbar.
3. Click Turn system icons on or off and make sure the Network icon is enabled.

3. Restart Windows Explorer
1. Right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager.
2. In the Processes tab, find Windows Explorer, right-click it and select Restart.

4. Re-enable the network adapter
1. Press the Windows X key and select Device Manager.
2. Expand the Network Adapters section.
3. Right-click your network adapter and select Disable Device.
4. After a few seconds, right-click it again and select Activate Device.

5. Update network card driver
1. Press the Windows X key and select Device Manager.
2. Expand the Network Adapters section.
3. Right-click your network adapter and select Update Driver.
4. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
6. Use the Network Troubleshooter
1. Press the Windows It key to open Settings.
2. Go to Update & Security – Troubleshooting.
3. Select Additional Troubleshooters.
4. Find and run the Network Adapter Troubleshooter.

7. Check Group Policy Settings (Windows Pro and Enterprise)
1. Press Windows R key, type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
2. Go to User Configuration – Administrative Templates – Start Menu and Taskbar.
3. Double-click Remove Network Icon and set it to Not Configured or Disabled.
8. Registry Editor (Advanced)
1. Press Windows R key, type regedit and press Enter.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SOFTWARE//Microsoft//Windows//CurrentVersion//Policies//Explorer.
3. Find a key named NoTrayItemsDisplay. If it exists, delete it or set its value to 0.
4. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER//Software//Microsoft//Windows//CurrentVersion//Policies//Explorer.
5. Find the same key and modify or delete it if necessary.
9. Restart your computer
Sometimes a simple reboot can fix the problem.
10. System Restore
If the WiFi icon was present before a recent change, you can try restoring your system to an earlier time.
1. Press Windows S key, type System Restore and select Create restore point.
2. Click System Restore and follow the prompts to choose a restore point.
