In this video I will show you the difference between Google Drive, the online storage and application, and Google Drive, the file syncing application and how they work together. I'll show how to set up and use Google Drive on a Windows 11, 10, 8 or 7 computer, and how you can then use it to sync your data across all your devices and have your data available anytime, anywhere .
NOTE: I didn't cover this in the video, but if you do the exact same installation and setup of the Google Drive file sync app on an additional computer, your Google Drive data will sync to that computer as well . This is a great way to have the same data on multiple computers, as well as multiple types of devices. I use it regularly when I'm away from home, on my laptop. I always have the same data no matter where I am or what device I'm on.
