Network Discovery allows Windows 11 to find other computers and devices on a network. This feature is automatically enabled when you are connected to private networks such as your home or workplace. Network discovery is disabled when you are connected to public networks that should not be trusted and you do not allow your PC to be discovered on these networks.

When enabled, it becomes easier to share files and printers as well as connect via a private network. However, if your Windows 11 device or computer can't display other devices on your network, it could be due to one of two issues:
