Windows Cannot Connect to Printer – Error 0x0000011b [Fixed]

Learn how to fix Windows cannot connect to printer. The operation failed with error 0x0000011b when connecting to a shared network printer on Windows 11/10 or earlier versions.
Make sure you have installed the correct driver on the host computer and that the printer is working properly before connecting to network computers.

Fix error 0x0000011b

1. Go to the host computer and search for /"regedit/".
2. Open Registry Editor and navigate to –
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//System//CurrentControlSet//Control//Print

3. Create a new Dword (32-bit) value.
4. Name it – RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled
5. Set the value data to 0.

Now find the /"Services/" application and restart the Print Spooler service.
Or restart the host PC.
You can now connect the printer to the client PC.

If this does not resolve the issue, also change the registry key on the client PC.
