Windows Storage Spaces

Newer versions of Windows will allow you to create storage spaces that occupy 2 or more physical disks and add them to a storage pool. You can then allocate space from this pool to create new virtual drives or disks for the virtual machines. There are also disk redundancy features you can implement.
