Word and Outlook – Dictate with automatic punctuation and voice commands
The Dictation functionality in Word and Outlook has been greatly improved. Dictation will now allow automatic punctuation, voice commands and a profanity filter. The Dictation command works in desktop applications: Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Interestingly, the new improvements only work in Word and Outlook.
Dictation works in PowerPoint, but it doesn't offer automatic punctuation, voice commands, or a profanity filter. I assume these features will be integrated into PowerPoint in the future. I tested this on Microsoft 365 and Windows 10. You must have a Microsoft 365 account to use Dictate.

With the new features, you get a floating toolbar with settings: automatic punctuation, voice commands and profanity filter. You can also change the languages spoken.

4) Settings are found in the Ger icon for dictation settings

Automatic punctuation
OFF – when off, I should say: /"Are you coming to the budget meeting question mark/" to get the question mark (?) at the end of the sentence.
ON – Enabling autopuncture will not automatically put the question mark at the end. I don't need to say a question mark. This is a huge improvement.
