I am a huge fan of frozen fruit. I always have big bags of berries mango and pineapple in my freezer for smoothies and desserts and I regularly buy a dozen bananas let them get blotchy peel them and freeze them.

While you can use frozen fruit for a variety of things—baked goods beverages fruit salads and more—some are best used for specific applications and don’t do well after thawing. This is especially true for watermelon which is why you won’t often see it in the frozen aisle of the grocery store.
